4. Optional Extra credit 1. Find another blog post on the same topic as the blog post that you summarized this week. Read and take notes. (The other blog post does not have to be one of your classmates’.) On your own blog, compare and contrast the opinions of the two bloggers.

According to her, listening to the advice of family or friends is wiser way to learn about life because it can gives you better answer, since the adviser has already experienced the situation where you are put into, and you don't have to take risk to experience it yourself.
However, he disagree with her. He thinks the advice of others give you indirect and incomplete understanding about the situation. In this sense, he prefer to have firsthand experience, which is worthy taking risk
3. On the blog: Summarize the main points of your classmate’s opinion blog post and then say whether you agree or disagree and why. Link to the original blog post.

He said that learning about life by listening to the advice of family or friends can give you helpful answer without taking risk, but it gives you at the same time indirect information. In this sense, he think that having personal experience is better way to learn about life because it gives you more direct and correct understanding. I agree with him.

3. Optional extra credit: Answer the following question with a 200-300 word essay on your blog.
What do you want most in a friend: someone who is intelligent, someone who has a sense of humor, or someone who is reliable? Which one of these characteristics is most important to you? Use reasons and specific examples to explain your choice.

Intelligence and a sense of humor are important things in making friends but I think that reliability is the most important characteristic to me because I believe that relationship is built on reliability.
When I was in a high school, back then I had different type of friends. One of them was a really funny man. He was like a comedian to us. When we hang out together, we laughed all the time. We never got bored. However, he was not faithful and does not know what a friendship is. When I needed support from him as a friend because of some serious problems, he ran away, though he was responsible for it.
A friendship does not just mean enjoyment. A true friendship, being involved in a relationship with someone, means taking responsibility for your friend. The responsibility in a relationship basically means reliability which includes honesty, sincerity, faith, support and encouragement. If it is a true friendship, you can share personal stuff, and to do so, it requires fundamental trust that he would stand on your side no matter what happens. In this sense, I believe that reliability is more important than intelligence and sense of humor in making friends.
2. On the blog, answer the following question in a 200-300 word essay:
Some people believe that the best way of learning about life is by listening to the advice of family or friends. Other people believe that the best way of learning about life is through personal experience. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of these two different ways of learning about life. Which do you think is preferable? Use specific examples to support your preference.

Some people think that the best way of learning about life is by listening to the advice of family or friends because they think that family or friends can look though the situations objectively where you are put into and give you a wiser advice than what you can come up with, since you are the subject in the circumstance. However, I can not agree with the idea. Human acts by what they believe true. No matter what is objectively right or wrong, and good or bad, people follow by their believe system. It is not about right or wrong but what they accept true and think worth to believe because it is them not someone else who pay the price and take the risk. It has nothing to do with someone’s opinion, even when they accept other’s advice, they do so because they think it is believable and worthy. In this sense, I think that the best way of learning life is through your own personal experience because the experience is not from others but your life, and you earn it by paying the price though your life, whatever the price is, so it is very believable and worthy following by to you whether it is good. The experience obtained through your life is an alive advice unlike others.

I hung out with my friend from church last weekend. We couldn't go out far since i was on my final, so we went to 이수. She came all the way here. Hanging out with her wasn't awkward or weird but fun, though it was first time to hang out with her outside alone. It was more like two close friends hanging out together after a long time. We really got closer in very short time.
We went to play batting after dinner. There were a few people. I thought her how to swing a bat. She got scared of it at first but later enjoyed. After that, we walked around for a while and went to a cafe. We sat on the second floor where it had a huge window, so we could watch people walking around the street.

4. Optional extra credit: Write 200+ words about a book that you have read, a film or TV program that you have seen, or a song that you like. Tell why you like it.

Beautiful Mind
I love watching movies because it is the best way to get rid of stress to me, so when I feel depressed and stressed, I normally watch movies. When I watch movies, I feel like I am in totally different world where time even doesn’t pass. I can fully fall into movies and enjoy what a specific atmosphere the movie makes without worries about the reality.
A couple of years ago, I saw Beautiful Mind and it became one of my favorites since the time. This movie is about a genius mathematician who has schizophrenia. He went to Princeton University. He was genius and unsociable like usually the genius are unsociable. While attending Princeton University, he started seeing ghosts but he didn’t think they were ghosts but real. One of them was his roommate though he didn’t have anyone. Other was the roommate’s niece. Around that time he met a beautiful girl at a bar though he was unsociable. Both got attracted to each other and got married. After graduation, he worked in national institute and saw another ghost, a Government agent who constantly gave him secret missions, which is decodement. He got so obsessed with code breaking that it caused many troubles. He went to doctor and started to have medicine but the medicine brought him other problems. The whole schizophrenia things drove them into very hard time but eventually they got through it. Thanks to his wife’s love, he decided to just ignore the ghosts without medicine. After long time, he won Nobel Prize. He said to his wife, “I’m only here tonight because of you. You are the reason I am”
